Phoenix Games Leicester opened its doors on 4 November 2006, originating from the Phoenix Games online store and the idea of providing a play area for all gamers.

Now the largest permanent play area in the UK and the venue for some of the highest level events including pro tour qualifiers for Magic: The Gathering and regional qualifiers for Yu-Gi-Oh but also an extensive list of weekly events (which can be found on the calendar)

Located in the centre of Leicester Phoenix Games Leicester has great transport links by train, bus and car. Only 5 minutes from the main bus station, 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the M1 (junction 21 from the south and junction 22 from the north)
